Margarita Diaz (she, her) is an experienced, certified bilingual Montessori educator with a demonstrated history of working in Montessori education for 20 years. She is a Bilingual Montessori consultant, instructor, and speaker, having served as an elementary guide, coach, and director at a bilingual Montessori public charter school in Washington, DC. Margarita also instructs at the Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies (IAMS) in Barrie School, Maryland. She holds American Montessori Society (AMS) credentials for Elementary I and II and is Montessori Coach Certified (NCMPS). Margarita is a member of the AMS Board of Directors, and she is a regular speaker at the AMS conferences and co-founder of AMS en Español Affinity Group where she leads monthly sessions about the importance of multilingual and Montessori education in both the public and private sector. She regularly gives conferences nationally and internationally in English and Spanish about Montessori education, with an emphasis on Multilingual Education, and Public Education.
